Are they trying to convince builders who are experiencing slow downs in their builds while costs to build continue to climb that there isn’t a problem, or are they trying to convince homebuyers there is no recession so they still buy? The horse or the cart we will not know, but either way it’s disappointing to see the organization that represents builders trying the same propaganda campaigns as the media.

Using the current unemployment rate in the recession decision would be malpractice.

There are fewer Americans working today than pre-pandemic. The reason we are in this economic mess is the economy is being run by people who have never run a business and would struggle to pass Economics 101.
