First is Shelter from the storm, Food is best when you have shelter nd clothing.
We need a balanced approach to housing with an exemption for interest rates on housing. Interest rates of 3 1/2% set up to grow the construction and remodeling to todays standards. If inflation remains at a rate of 2% +/- 2 basis points,
We should be smart enough to continue job and economic growth without sacrificing housing!

It has not gotten any easier to secure development permits. We work in 4 south Puget sound counties and and I can tell you from first hand experience that residential development and home building has continued to be more difficult in all areas as a result of more regulatory impacts on development and slower processing for residential permits along with considerable more inspections in the home building process.
Where does it stop?
All this seems to senselessly drive up the cost of housing.
I say: “Give Americans a break”
